Working Principle of disc oil separator

The separation of oil, soap, or phospholipids in a disc centrifugel separator is achieved by passing a mixture of oil, soap, or phospholipids through a rotating drum and a set of discs in the centrifuge. The mixture enters the disc group through a lower distributor, and is separated from the soap or phospholipids within the distance of each disc using the thin layer separation principle. The oil flows upward along the surface of the disc and is discharged by a small centripetal pump of light phase; The soap foot or oil foot slides down the surface of the disc, passes through the inner wall of the drum, and is discharged by the heavy phase large centripetal pump. A small amount of mechanical impurities in the oil are actively discharged from the sealing surface between the sliding piston and the drum cover at regular intervals.
